A scientific services center of a special nature, concerned with the development of university education, the environment and educational in accordance with academic quality and accreditation standards and is interested in the continuous education of human resources through the establishment of rehabilitation and training courses for various scientific and humanitarian specialties for the employees of the Tikrit university, state institutions, civil society organizations and the private sector, and ensures the university's communication with the needs of society and the labor market, and conducts research and studies related to the center's activity. The Continuing Education Center was established at the University of Anbar under the university order No. 7/39/5484 on 6/10/2004 attached to the ministerial order No. 12/1143 on 25/9/2004
Mission
Activating an internal quality system to follow up and evaluate the university's performance, applying total quality, continuous development of university performance, and gaining community confidence in the university graduate. Commitment to the application of the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of total quality systems by motivating and directing employees to carry out their responsibilities to achieve quality goals and to ensure the achievement of performance efficiency with continuous development and improvement.
Aims
The unit seeks to provide the necessary services to achieve scientific and community development through the following objectives:
1. Raising the level of professional performance of all teaching staff through the establishment of high-quality seminars, courses and workshops.
2. Providing training and educational opportunities for the beneficiary groups outside the scope of the college in a way that contributes to the development of their knowledge and abilities through a number of various training programs.
3. Developing mutually beneficial professional partnerships between the college and various local institutions so as to contribute to community development.
4. Employing and investing the human and technical capabilities of the college in community service.
5. Providing the latest scientific developments to the target groups in the best ways and methods.
Tasks
The unit provides its services to the beneficiaries of professors and employees, where the unit carries out all the activities and scientific events of the college from courses, seminars and workshops .
• Nominating teachers for teaching methods courses .
• Nominating teachers and staff for Arabic language safety courses .
• Nominating teachers and staff for various general courses .
• Nominating employees for courses on administrative promotions for employees .
• Preparing the annual plan for courses, seminars and workshops held by the college .
• Issuing administrative orders related to the assignment to provide all events, including courses, seminars, workshops and books supporting participation in these events .
• Carrying out other administrative matters such as printing and issuing administrative books and keeping in files .
• Preparing records for books issued and received and special records for all types of courses, paper and electronically.
• Preparing special files for the unit to save official books according to the needs of the unit .
• Preparing monthly and annual reports for the activities of the scientific college .
• Organizing the work of the unit electronically.
