Scientific seminar entitled "Modern Science Skills for University Staff"

 The College of Science organized a scientific symposium on Sunday, November 6, 2024, entitled "Modern Science Skills for University Staff", delivered by (Assistant Professor Dr. Haitham Jabbar Taha), an international expert in education quality and academic accreditation. The symposium, which was moderated by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Salman Obaid, was attended by a group of college professors and graduate students. In his lecture, Dr. Haitham discussed a set of modern skills that the academic staff must develop to keep pace with the rapid developments in the scientific field. The symposium included many important topics, including:

The importance of scientific research
Scientific publishing skills
The use of technology in education
Scientific communication skills
Dr. Haitham Jabbar Taha stated, "Developing the academic staff is the main pillar for raising the level of university education. This symposium aims to provide professors with the skills and knowledge necessary to keep pace with modern scientific developments, and enhance their capabilities in scientific production." For his part, the Dean of the colleg of Science, Prof. Dr. Esmat Ramzy Abdel Ghafour, praised this symposium, stressing its importance in developing the academic staff and providing them with the necessary skills to keep pace with scientific developments.
