The University Presidency organized an extensive training course entitled “Digital Transformation” targeting College of Science employees, with the aim of raising their proficiency in using modern digital technologies and enhancing their abilities to deal with electronic systems in line with technological developments in the university work environment.
The course was held at the College of Science and began on Sunday, August 10, 2025, lasting for four days. It included theoretical and practical lectures presented by Dr. Sumaya Abdullah Hamad from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology. The lectures covered various topics in the field of electronic applications and the Internet.
The course also included practical workshops that enabled participants to receive hands-on training in the use of digital platforms and systems, which contributed to increasing interaction and the exchange of experiences, and maximizing the benefits of the training program.
At the conclusion of the events, Prof. Dr. Esmat Ramzi Abdel Ghaffour, Dean of the Faculty of Science, praised the efforts of the lecturer and participants, emphasizing that this course is part of a series of training programs aimed at achieving comprehensive digital transformation in the college, in line with the university's vision and strategic plan to develop the academic work environment.
