A seminar entitled “Social upbringing and its relationship to autism in children”

The Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Science, in cooperation with the Department of Physics, organized an educational seminar entitled "Socialization and its Relationship to Autism in Children" with the attendance of a number of lecturers and students of the Department of Physics. The seminar, in which Dr. Zeina Akab Salibi gave an educational lecture, aimed to spread awareness about proper socialization and how it affects children with autism, in addition to clarifying the role of the family and school in raising a child with autism. The socialization of children with autism is not impossible, but it requires integrated efforts from the family, school and society through a supportive environment and specialized programs to improve their skills and enhance their integration into society.
