This thesis investigates the Fermi-hole shift in the 1s²2s² configuration of atoms and ions within 4 ≤ Z ≤ 20, using the Hartree–Fock approximation combined with the partitioning technique. A dedicated code was developed in Wolfram Language, and all results are expressed in atomic units.

Five electronic properties were analyzed: the interparticle distribution function f(r??), the partial two-particle distribution g(r??,r?), the Fermi hole ?f(r??), the partial Fermi hole ?g(r??,r?), and the pairing energy Vee, in both singlet (¹S) and triplet (³S) states.

The results show that increasing Z compresses the electronic cloud, shifts the distribution peak toward shorter interelectronic distances, and deepens the Fermi hole in triplet states due to stronger exchange repulsion. The magnitude of the Fermi-hole shift decreases with Z, while the pairing energy increases steadily, reflecting stronger electron–electron interactions in the inner shells.
