Under the direct supervision and follow-up of the President of the University of Anbar, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, and the continuous follow-up of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, the University of Anbar announced the establishment of two Master's programs in Microbiology and Zoology within the Biology Department of the College of Science.
This important academic achievement aims to graduate specialized and qualified scientific and research cadres to meet the growing needs in these two vital fields and contribute effectively to the development of knowledge and scientific research in Iraq. The curricula for the two programs have been carefully designed to ensure their quality and compatibility with international academic standards, ensuring distinguished educational and research outcomes.
This new development reinforces the university's role as a leading center for higher education and scientific research in the region.
It is worth noting that the specialization in Microbiology focuses on the study of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi and their impact on human health and the environment, in addition to their applications in the fields of medicine, industry, and agriculture. Zoology studies various aspects of animal life, from their classification, anatomy, and physiology to their behavior, environment, and evolution.
