In line with the directives of the esteemed President of Anbar University, Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nida, to open up to prestigious universities, and in line with the directives of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, to promote solid scientific progress, and within the framework of academic research cooperation, an advanced research study was completed and published entitled:
"Electrode variability and its impact on the characteristics of M@C molecular junctions (M = P, S, As, Se)"
The study was prepared by:
Assistant Lecturer Anhar Abdul Salam Awda, in collaboration with Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Ahmed Al-Jubouri, Assistant Professor Samir Obaid Nawaf, Assistant Professor Dr. Nabil Fawzi Latofi, Assistant Professor Dr. Mu'ayyad Mahmoud Mutlaq, and with fruitful international research collaboration with Dr. Ali Ismail from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. This step reflects the trend toward regional and international scientific integration. The study was published in the journal Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing, ranked in the first quartile (Q1), and boasts robust evaluation indicators, including: Cite score: 8.4 Impact factor: 4.6. The research aims to use mathematical models to study the effect of polarity differences on the quantum transport and thermoelectric properties of C80 molecules doped with P, S, As, and Se elements. This study contributes to providing new horizons for the design of molecular electronics and advanced thermoelectric devices.
