As part of strengthening academic cooperation and implementing the terms of the twinning agreement concluded between the College of Science at the University of Anbar and the Middle East University College, the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, and his accompanying delegation made an official visit to the headquarters of the Middle East University College on Monday, April 14, 2025.
The visit included a close follow-up of the joint exam being conducted between the two colleges in the Department of Life Sciences, which includes students in the second, third, and fourth years of study. The Dean closely reviewed the procedures followed for organizing exams and providing an appropriate environment for students to take their exams with ease and convenience.
The Dean of the College of Science inspected the modern and advanced scientific laboratories at the Middle East University College, where he listened to a detailed explanation of the available equipment and its role in supporting the educational process and scientific research for students and researchers in various disciplines. He expressed his admiration for the advanced level of equipment and the College's commitment to providing a distinguished educational and research environment. During the visit, friendly and fruitful meetings took place between the Dean of the College of Science and his counterpart, the Dean of the Middle East University College. They discussed ways to enhance and expand mutual cooperation to include other academic and research fields, serving the interests of students and advancing the level of education at both institutions. In a statement, the Dean of the College of Science emphasized the importance of these mutual visits in strengthening relations between the two colleges and exchanging expertise and knowledge. He noted that "the partnership with the Middle East University College represents a valuable addition to the educational process at the University of Anbar, and we strive to develop this cooperation to benefit our students and academic staff."
