In a new sporting achievement added to its distinguished record, the College of Science secured second place in the University of Anbar Basketball Championship. This victory came after the college team's active and outstanding participation in the university's sports tournaments. The College of Science team began its campaign in the opening match of the championship with a well-deserved win against the College of Islamic Sciences team, delivering a brilliant performance and showcasing high-level skills that enabled them to secure a well-deserved victory.

The team continued its brilliance and creativity in its second match, achieving an important win against the College of Education for Humanities team, thus earning its place in the final against the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences team.

With this commendable performance, the College of Science team was crowned second place among all colleges of the University of Anbar.
