In an effort to strengthen the integration between academic knowledge and practical application, the College of Science, represented by the Department of Chemistry, organized a scientific field visit to the university's Nanomaterials Research Center. The visit targeted postgraduate students, as well as fourth-year students whose graduation research focuses on nanotechnology.

The visit was supervised by faculty members of the department: Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mishaal, Assist. Prof. Dr. Yusra Hammadi, Dr. Khudair Yass, Dr. Ahmed Subhi, Assist. Lect. Abdullah Thamer, and Assist. Lect. Istabraq Shihab. It aimed to introduce students to the latest diagnostic instruments used in nanomaterials research and their applications in medicine, energy, and environmental fields.

The program included a laboratory tour during which students received detailed explanations from the Center’s Director, Associate Professor Dr. Mazen Abdul Hamid, and laboratory staff regarding the operation of the ??????? and methods of data analysis.

The college deanship emphasized that such field activities represent a fundamental pillar in preparing students and enhancing their research and professional skills. These initiatives align with the College’s strategy to improve the scientific competitiveness of its students and to better prepare them for the labor market and research fields through direct engagement with advanced research centers.
