The study aimed to investigate the impact of curcumin and nanocurcumin on the lifespan and physiological parameters by using fruit flies as a model organism. The most important findings of the study were that nanocurcumin is more effective compared to curcumin and the control group in extending the lifespan and improving physiological parameters; it enhances the antioxidant system, climbing ability, oviposition, body weight, and anesthesia time and makes changes in total protein and protein pattern via SDS-PAGE profile in fruit flies, mainly by reducing oxidative stress, highlighting its potential for future biological applications.
