Department of Mathematics Continues Cultural Week Activities with Seminar and Scientific Competition

Under the patronage and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, the activities of the Cultural Week organized by the Department of Mathematics continued on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in an engaging academic atmosphere at Ibn Sina Hall.

The day featured a specialized scientific seminar entitled “Structural Convergence Analysis of Systems” The session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Issam Kamil Ahmed, while the scientific presentations were delivered by:

 Assist. Lect. Shimaa Issa Ali

The seminar highlighted advanced concepts in mathematical theories and explored how complexity indices can be applied to analyze and evaluate graph structures and their scientific and practical applications.

In addition to the seminar, the festival included a competitive scientific contest that created an atmosphere of enthusiasm among students and stimulated their intellectual abilities. A range of cultural activities were also organized, showcasing the creative talents and skills of mathematics students.
