As part of its extracurricular activities aimed at developing students’ intellectual and spiritual capacities, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science, University of Anbar, organized a major religious and cultural competition among students of the scientific departments. The event was held on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Jabir ibn Hayyan Hall.

The competition took place in a highly interactive and competitive atmosphere, featuring a wide range of religious, cultural, and general knowledge questions designed to assess students’ knowledge and encourage reading beyond their specialized academic fields.

After several engaging rounds of intellectual competition among participating teams representing different scientific departments, the final results were as follows:

First Place:** Department of Chemistry
Second Place:** Department of Mathematics
Third Place:** Department of Biotechnology

At the conclusion of the event, the winning teams were congratulated, and appreciation was extended to all participants for their positive spirit and sportsmanship. This initiative reflects the vision of the college deanship and the Women’s Affairs Unit in fostering a well-rounded university environment that supports students’ cultural and intellectual development alongside their academic excellence.
