Delegation Headed by the Dean of the College of Science Visits the Center for Industrial Applications Research and Materials Technology
As part of the College of Science at the University of Anbar’s commitment to broadening horizons of scientific and research collaboration, a delegation from the College, headed by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, paid a visit to the Center for Industrial Applications Research and Materials Technology. The visit aimed to explore the research capabilities available at the Center, review ongoing projects in the field of industrial applications and advanced materials technologies, and discuss prospects for joint collaboration in scientific research and industrial development. The program began with a welcoming session, during which the Center’s Director, Dr. "Mohammed Khammas Khalaf", delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the Center’s mission and research objectives. He also highlighted key projects currently being undertaken by researchers in areas such as advanced materials, energy, and modern industrial technologies. Following the presentation, the delegation embarked on a field tour of the Center’s research laboratories and technical facilities. The visitors were introduced to state-of-the-art instruments and equipment used in materials analysis and industrial prototyping—resources that form a cornerstone for the development of applied research serving both the community and the national industry. During the visit, the Dean of the College of Science emphasized that the College continually strives to strengthen collaboration with national and international research centers. Such partnerships are crucial for exchanging expertise, fostering applied research, and aligning with the University’s strategic vision of innovation and scientific leadership. For his part, the Director of the Center welcomed the delegation, expressing his delight at this important step toward establishing fruitful research partnerships with the College of Science.
