This study investigates the spectral and optical properties of acridone derivatives dissolved in DMF to assess their suitability as dye laser active media. UV–Vis, IR, Raman, and NMR analyses showed concentration-dependent absorption and fluorescence behavior consistent with the Beer–Lambert law. Hydrogen bonding and well-defined Raman and NMR fingerprints indicate a stable and rigid molecular structure favorable for laser applications. Overall, acridone derivatives demonstrate strong potential for dye lasers with applications in medicine, industry, and optical communications.
