The study analyzes the momentum distribution of individual shells in the carbon atom and its isoelectronic ions N+2 O+3 F+3 . The Hartree-Fock method was used to examine the effect of increasing nuclear charge. Three novel momentum indicators were introduced, showing high sensitivity to nuclear change and revealing dominant intra-shell symmetry and shifts in inter-shell balance. The results linked orbital shape to momentum density redistribution. Using Kullback-Leibler divergence, momentum-shift regions were analyzed, showing distribution convergence with higher charge. Compton profile analysis revealed response regions indicating inter-shell exchange. Entropy measures indicated increased system disorder with nuclear charge, reflecting broader distributions and higher kinetic energy. A Wolfram language code was developed for the complex computations. The research's significance lies in linking momentum-space quantum physics with information theory for a deeper understanding of atomic structure.
