"Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026 Concludes with Recognition of Creative Student Talents"
The "Global Entrepreneurship Week" activities, organized by the College of Science in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit, concluded on Thursday, February 12, 2026, with a distinguished closing ceremony that witnessed a large turnout and great appreciation for the youth and student talents. The competition was overseen by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Nabil Fawzi Latoufi, and Dr. Yusra Mahmoud Hammadi, while the judging panel consisted of Dr. Maher Khalil Ibrahim, Ms. Hajar Shehab Hamad, and Ms. Duaa Ahmed Khalil. The final day was characterized by its cultural and creative focus, moving away from the traditional format to highlight the soft skills and diverse talents of the students. It included a series of competitive events that garnered significant audience participation.
The closing day's activities included a poetry competition where students recited poems in both classical Arabic and Nabati (Bedouin) styles, expressing the values ??of ambition and determination. The event also featured a "Best Success Story" competition, where participants shared their personal experiences or emerging entrepreneurial projects, inspiring their peers with their journeys toward self-realization. Additionally, there was a "Best Meaningful Content" competition, which focused on creating positive digital content that serves the community and promotes entrepreneurial values. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the winners of the three competitions were honored, and certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participants and organizers in recognition of their efforts in making this annual event a success. The event aims to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among the next generation.
