"College of Science Opens Its Advanced Laboratories to Students of Qatrat Al-Nada Intermediate School for Girls"

As part of its ongoing community initiatives aimed at strengthening academic and educational collaboration and in line with its commitment to attracting and motivating young talents, the College of Science at the University of Anbar welcomed students from "Qatrat Al-Nada Intermediate School for Girls," accompanied by a group of their teaching staff, for a scientific and exploratory visit to the college's facilities and laboratories.

The field visit included a comprehensive tour of several scientific departments and their advanced laboratories. During the tour, students received simplified and practical explanations from faculty members and technical staff about the operation of modern laboratory equipment, including microscopes and biotechnological and chemical techniques. Emphasis was placed on simplifying scientific concepts and linking theoretical knowledge studied at the intermediate level with real-world applications. Additionally, selected scientific terms were introduced in English to broaden the students’ academic exposure.

This initiative aligns with the vision of the college deanship, represented by the dean, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, which aims to bridge the psychological gap between school education and the university environment. It also seeks to encourage students at an early stage to pursue pure scientific disciplines, foster a spirit of inquiry and exploration, and instill academic ambition to support their future success.
