Final Examinations for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students Beginning at the College of Science with the Participation of More Than 2,250 Students
Amid a highly organized academic atmosphere and comprehensive logistical preparations, the College of Science officially commenced the final examinations for the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year on Sunday morning, May 10, 2026.
A total of **74 postgraduate students** enrolled in the **Master’s and PhD programs** began their examinations in the Departments of "Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Applied Geology". Simultaneously, 2,180 undergraduate students (excluding first-year students) across all scientific departments of the College commenced their final examinations in accordance with the approved university academic calendar.
As part of ongoing field supervision and in line with efforts to provide an optimal examination environment, the Dean of the College of Science, **Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour**, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, **Professor Dr. Ahmed Mishal Mohammed**, conducted an extensive inspection tour of the examination halls across the various departments of the College.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the progress of the examination process and engaged directly with students regarding the nature of the examination questions and the extent of their alignment with the prescribed curriculum content. He also inspected the level of logistical and technical services provided to students, including classroom ventilation and cooling systems, lighting conditions, and the availability of drinking water. The Dean commended the exceptional efforts exerted by the examination committees and supporting staff in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the examinations.
At the conclusion of the tour, the Deanship of the College of Science extended its sincere wishes to all students for success and academic excellence, expressing its continued commitment to overcoming any challenges that may affect their educational journey and supporting them in achieving the highest levels of academic distinction.
