Following Exciting Competitions, the Department of Biotechnology Secures the College of Science Table Tennis Championship.
As part of its commitment to supporting sports activities and fostering student talents, the College of Science concluded last week the competitions of its annual Table Tennis Championship, with the final stages taking place in the sports hall of the Student Activities Division.
The tournament witnessed a high level of competition among participating students, ultimately leading to a final match between student Haroun Younis Mujbas, representing the Department of Biotechnology, and student Abdul Latif Bashir Abdul Latif after both competitors achieved a series of well-deserved victories over their opponents throughout the knockout rounds.
In the final match, which was characterized by intensity, speed, and a high degree of concentration, Haroun Younis Mujbas successfully imposed his playing style and secured victory, claiming the championship trophy and officially earning the title of "College of Science Table Tennis Champion" for this year.
On this distinguished sporting occasion, the Deanship of the College of Science and the Student Activities Division extend their sincere congratulations to the champion student and to the department he represents on this well-deserved achievement, while wishing Abdul Latif Bashir and all participating students greater success in future tournaments and sporting events.
