Towards a Paperless Work Environment: "specialized practical workshop entitled “Digital Transformation and the Implementation of Automation and Information Systems.”
Reaffirming its leadership in keeping pace with technological advancement and implementing modern administrative standards, and as part of an ambitious step toward strengthening electronic governance, the College of Science organized a specialized practical workshop entitled “Digital Transformation and the Implementation of Automation and Information Systems.”
The workshop witnessed significant attention and high-level attendance under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, in addition to a number of faculty members and administrative staff.
The workshop was delivered by the Head of the Information Technology Unit at the College, Mr. Mohammed Faisal Affat, who provided a detailed explanation and practical demonstration of the automation software, information systems, and official email platforms adopted for managing the College’s daily operations. The presenter highlighted the crucial role of these technologies in accelerating administrative and academic procedures and facilitating the gradual transition toward a “paperless work environment,” thereby contributing significantly to saving time, reducing effort and bureaucratic routines, and ensuring accurate and secure data preservation.
In his remarks during the workshop, the President of the University highly commended the exceptional efforts and pioneering initiatives undertaken by the Deanship of the College of Science and its staff in the field of digital transformation. He emphasized that these advanced measures reflect the strategic vision of the University of Anbar toward establishing a smart and sustainable environment that enhances the quality of academic and administrative services provided to students, researchers, and employees alike.
