Enhancing Joint Scientific Cooperation: "Department of Applied Geology Receives Student Delegation from Al-Idrisi University College"

As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic collaboration and knowledge exchange between educational institutions, the Department of Applied Geology at the College of Science, University of Anbar, received a student delegation from Al-Idrisi University College, accompanied by faculty members Assistant Lecturer Huda Muqbil and Assistant Lecturer Saja Salah.

The delegation was welcomed by the Head of the Department of Applied Geology, Prof. Dr. Ali Mishal Abd, and the Department Rapporteur, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hafez Dhiab. They expressed their appreciation for the visit and emphasized the college's commitment to fostering scientific cooperation with universities and colleges across Iraq.

The visit program included an applied lecture and an introductory tour delivered by Lecturer Nizar Zaidan Khalaf. He provided detailed scientific explanations on the most important minerals found in nature, highlighting their precise physical properties. He also discussed their economic significance by outlining their various industrial applications, availability, and distribution across Iraqi territories, thereby enriching the scientific knowledge of the visiting students.

At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation from Al-Idrisi University College expressed their sincere gratitude to the Department of Applied Geology and the College of Science for the warm reception and generous hospitality, as well as for the valuable scientific insights that contributed to enhancing their practical and applied learning experience.
