College of Science Crowned Champion of the 14th Applied Research Forum at the University of Anbar

In a remarkable display of academic excellence and innovation, the College of Science achieved an outstanding milestone by securing "first place" in the "14th Applied Research Forum for Graduation Projects", held under the patronage and direct supervision of the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada.

This achievement was accomplished through the distinguished research efforts of a group of talented students from the Department of Biotechnology:

* Nawras Sufyan
* Khatam Najm
* Fatima Ahmed
* Ibtisam Hamed

The students earned top recognition for their innovative and high-quality research entitled:
“Novel Magnet-Assisted Electroporation Apparatus for Efficient Gene Transfer in Bacterial System.”

The study presents the design of an advanced device that enhances gene transfer efficiency, reflecting the depth of creative thinking and the advanced scientific level reached by the College’s students in the field of biotechnology.

This achievement was realized under the direct supervision and scientific guidance of Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Jabbar Suleiman, Head of the Department of Biotechnology and research supervisor.

This well-deserved success represents a direct outcome of the continuous support provided by the University Presidency and the College Deanship to nurture young talents. It also reaffirms the high quality and rigor of the academic outputs of the College of Science.
