Anise seed extract was used to prepare nanomaterials MgO and MnO2.UV-Vis, FTIR, FESEM, EDX, and TEM techniques was used to characterized. The study aimed to evaluated the efficiency of MgO and MnO2 nanoparticles as antioxidants by scavenging the free radical DPPH. It was also done Studying the effectiveness of these nanomaterials as anti-diabetics. This study was conducted using female albino rats and were subjected to oral treatment with nanomaterials for a period of 14 days. A histopathological study was also conducted of the kidneys and liver of rats that were treated with nanomaterials to monitor their toxic effects.
