As part of ongoing efforts to advance scientific and research skills and keep pace with rapid global developments in the biological sciences, the College of Science, through joint collaboration between the Department of Biology and the Center for Continuing Education, has launched a specialized training course entitled “Modern Trends and Techniques in Microorganism Identification and Applications of Advanced Technology.”

The training program will continue over the course of a full week and aims to highlight the latest scientific and technological advancements adopted globally in the detection and identification of microorganisms, as well as the application of modern techniques to achieve accurate and rapid laboratory results that support the fields of health, environment, and scientific research.

This specialized training course is delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members and researchers from the Department of Biology, including:
• Prof. Dr. Muthanna Hamid Hassan
• Assist. Prof. Dr. Mayada Abdullah Shihan
• Lect. Dr. Reem Mahdi Saleh
• Assist. Lect. Hanan Hamid Mohammed

The organization of this course comes within the strategic plan of the Deanship of the College of Science aimed at activating the role of continuing education and equipping academic staff, researchers, and students with modern technical expertise that enhances laboratory performance and supports the advancement of scientific research at the university.
