Within the framework of fruitful cooperation between academic and health institutions, and as an important step to enhance health awareness, the College of Science, in cooperation with the Anbar Specialized Cancer Center, organized today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in Jaber bin Hayyan Hall, an awareness seminar entitled ((Breast Cancer Awareness: Hope for a Bright Future)), held by the Women's Affairs Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, in cooperation with the Anbar Specialized Cancer Center. The seminar addressed the importance of early detection of the disease, methods of prevention and treatment, in addition to various aspects of the disease, starting from its causes and ending with the latest treatment methods. The lectures were presented by Dr. Ayman Adnan Al-Dilan and Dr. Yasmine Muhammad Khalaf from the Anbar Specialized Cancer Center, and the seminar was Managed by Dr. Yusra Mahmoud Hammadi and Dr. Wijdan Ahmed Ali from the College of Science.
