In an atmosphere filled with inspiration and positivity, the College of Science hosted an exceptional event on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Ibn Sina Hall, celebrating perseverance and determination through the “Best Success Story” competition for its students.

This distinguished initiative was organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit in collaboration with the Student Activities Unit, providing a unique platform to highlight the human and resilient aspects of students’ lives beyond the routine of classrooms and laboratories.

During the competition, participating students presented real-life stories from their academic and personal journeys, rich with valuable lessons and meaningful experiences. The audience engaged enthusiastically with narratives that embodied perseverance, resilience, and the ability to overcome challenges—demonstrating that the path to success is often shaped by difficulties that can only be conquered through strong will and unwavering ambition.

At the conclusion of this motivating event, and on behalf of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, Dr. Yusra Mahmoud Hammadi, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, presented certificates of appreciation to the winners and participants.
