Field course activities (practical) for students of the Department of Applied Geology
The activities of the field course for students of the Department of Applied Geology at the College of Science were start in the city of Shaqlawa in Erbil Governorate, northern Iraq, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ali Mishaal Abdul, with a group of professors from the department. This is part of the annual field course activities. The course aims to link the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect, enable students to learn about the different geological structures in the region and apply the knowledge they acquired during their theoretical studies in a field environment, and provide students with the necessary practical skills in the field of geology.
