The College of Science at Anbar University organized a specialized workshop on national and academic measures to combat corruption. The workshop was held on October 27, 2024 in Jaber bin Hayyan Hall. The workshop targeted all teaching and administrative staff in the college with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of combating corruption and implementing its provisions. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Awda Mohammed, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency, and Asst. M. Ahmed Arak Nayef / Legal Affairs Department at the University Presidency. The workshop included a series of lectures and discussions that addressed the concepts of corruption, its types, causes, and negative effects on society. The role that academics can play in combating corruption through scientific research and community awareness was also highlighted.
