Chronic kidney disease is a progressive disease with no cure and high morbidity and mortality that occurs commonly in the general adult population. The study aimed to estimate the level of serum soluble α -Klotho, TNF-α and FGF- 23 in CKD patients (with dialysis and without dialysis) and to establish its role in chronic kidney disease.
Klotho, TNF-α and FGF-23 are emerging as new biomarkers. Their potential utility seems to transcend the field of renal failure and
