Within the visiting professor segment, the College of Science hosts a “scientific lecture given by Professor Mohamed Helmy”

 In a move that enhances the status of the College of Science, the Department of Biotechnology hosted a scientific lecture in Jabir Bin Hayyan Hall, delivered by Professor Mohamed Helmy, a global expert in the field of bioinformatics and the head of the Vaccine Development and Infectious Diseases Organization in Canada. This lecture was part of the visiting professor section, sponsored by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Esmat Ramzy Abdel Ghafour, and under the direct supervision of the Head of the Department of Biotechnology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdel Jabbar Suleiman. The lecture targeted fourth-year students in the Department of Biotechnology, providing them with a comprehensive overview of the foundations of bioinformatics and its practical applications in biological systems.
