The current study dealt, with vanadium (IV) and molybdenum (IV) complexes that were prepared using different ligands and different molar ratios. The prepared complexes were characterized by appropriate spectroscopic techniques. The study of elements analysis, conductivity, FTIR, and UV-Vis spectra showed that vanadium (IV) complexes have square pyramidal and octahedral structures, while molybdenum (IV) complexes have octahedral structures. A sensitive, simple, and rapid spectroscopic method has been described for the determination of vanadium (IV) and molybdenum (IV). The low LOQ, LOD showed, and Sandell sensitivity values the high sensitivity of the proposed method.
