On Monday, March 17, 2025, the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Science organized an educational seminar entitled "The Role of Iraqi Women in Promoting University Education and Developing Society." The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Hanan Abdul Qader Abdul Illah, with the attendance of a number of students from the Department of Life Sciences. The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of university education as the cornerstone of individual and societal development, while highlighting the role of Iraqi women in strengthening this vital sector. The seminar emphasized that Iraqi women are essential partners in achieving these goals, through their roles as students, academics, and educators, contributing to providing society with the competencies and expertise required to undertake the responsibility of institutional development. It explained that university education is the primary key to achieving job security and a dignified life, enhancing women's ability to play a pivotal role in building the future.
