In collaboration with the Women's Affairs Unit at the College of Science, the Computer Science Center, and the Continuing Education Center, a valuable scientific workshop titled "Applying E-Governance Mechanisms in the Digital Age" was held today, Thursday, April 24, 2025, in Ibn Sina Hall.
The workshop featured the following speakers:
• Prof. Dr. Omar Abdul Rahman Daoud, Director of the Computer Science Center.
• Asst. Dr. Sudeir Abdul Wahid Fadel, from the Continuing Education Center.
The workshop addressed key topics, including the concepts of e-governance, its importance in enhancing transparency and efficiency, and the challenges facing its implementation. It also reviewed practical models and applications of e-governance in various sectors.
The workshop witnessed extensive interaction and discussions between the lecturers and attendees, contributing to the exchange of experiences and knowledge and enhancing awareness of the importance of adopting e-governance mechanisms to keep pace with rapid digital developments. For his part, the Dean of the College of Science stated: “This workshop comes within the framework of the College of Science’s ongoing efforts to develop the capabilities of its members, provide society with modern knowledge in scientific and technical fields, and enhance cooperation between its various units and centers to achieve its goals in serving the educational and development process.”
