This study aims to prepare Cu-substituted zinc ferrite CuxZn1-xFe2O4 thin films with (X = 0-0.09) using electric field-enhanced spray pyrolysis. Their structural, optical, and electrical properties were studied to evaluate the suitability of these films as visible light photodetectors. The samples showed the best performance at X = 0.05 with the highest sensitivity and response. This study describes how copper doping improves the structural and functional properties of spinel ferrites for advanced technological applications.
