In implementation of the memorandum of joint scientific cooperation between the two universities, a delegation from the College of Science - Department of Biology at Anbar University visited the Nanotechnology Institute at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.
In line with the memoranda of understanding signed with partner universities, and under the patronage of the President of the University of Anbar, **Professor Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Al-Nada**, with the guidance and support of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wissam Hashim Khalil, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Science,Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, a delegation from the Department of Biology, College of Science, University of Anbar, visited the *Institute of Nanotechnology* at Jordan University of Science and Technology on 19 September 2025.
The visit was carried out as part of the scientific cooperation agreement between the two universities and as a continuation of follow-up procedures related to joint supervision of postgraduate students.
The delegation included Assist. Prof. Dr. Laith Muslih Najib, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sufyan Mohammed Shartouh, and Mr. Abdulrahman Naeem Omair. During the visit, the delegation met with Prof Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Omari, Dean of the Institute, and Prof. Dr. Mu’tasim Mohammed Al-Samadi, Assist Dean and co-supervisor, to review the progress of the Ph.D. research plan of Ithar Munther Abdulwahab. The discussions focused on clarifying the research trajectory, identifying obstacles, and outlining strategies for addressing them.
At the conclusion of the visit, and on behalf of the University President, the delegation presented a *certificate of appreciation* to the Dean of the Institute in recognition of his efforts and valuable contributions in supporting scientific cooperation.
