A Meaningful Conclusion to the “16 Days” Campaign: "The College of Science Concludes Its Festival for Combating Violence Against Women"

The College of Science concluded on Thursday, 10 December 2025, its student awareness festival organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit in conjunction with the global “16 Days of Activism Against Violence Against Women and Girls” campaign.

The closing ceremony witnessed remarkable attendance and featured a moving and comprehensive program that reflected the efforts of the Women’s Affairs Unit and the participating students. The main segments included a powerful and expressive theatrical performance presented by a group of college students, portraying the social and familial dimensions of violence and highlighting the importance of psychological and legal support for women. The performance received significant appreciation and engagement from the audience.

The ceremony also featured an exhibition of photographs and posters showcasing artwork addressing issues of empowerment and protection, as well as messages calling for the rejection of violence and discrimination. The ongoing handicrafts bazaar continued to display women’s handmade products, underscoring the importance of supporting women's economic independence as part of broader protection and empowerment strategies.
