In an initiative aimed at enhancing scientific literacy among primary school students, the College of Science welcomed on Sunday, 14 December 2025, a delegation of students from "Al-Zumurrud Primary School for Girls". The visit included a guided tour of the college’s facilities and scientific laboratories, during which the students were introduced to the nature of laboratory work and the importance of scientific research in everyday life.

A team of faculty members accompanied the students on a tour of the scientific laboratories, providing simplified explanations of the tools and equipment used in scientific experiments. The students demonstrated keen interest in the experiments presented and posed numerous questions, reflecting their enthusiasm and curiosity for science.

The visit aimed to introduce students to the significance of science and its role in daily life, encourage them to pursue scientific studies in the future, develop their observation and experimental skills, and strengthen cooperation between the college and educational institutions within the governorate.

One of the accompanying teachers noted that such visits contribute to instilling a love for science in students from an early age, expressing hope that more students will pursue studies at colleges of science in the future.
