Within the framework of constructive academic cooperation among the colleges of the University of Anbar, "Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdulghafour, Dean of the College of Science, delivered a valuable and specialized lecture on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the College of Dentistry.

The lecture, entitled “Navigating Academic Publishing: Strong Research Writing and Journal Choice,” targeted faculty members and postgraduate students interested in enhancing the quality of their research output.

The lecture addressed the fundamental principles of rigorous academic writing and the proper structuring of research papers in accordance with international standards. It also focused on mechanisms for selecting reputable scientific journals, emphasized the importance of avoiding predatory journals, and provided practical guidance to facilitate the publication process in internationally recognized research databases.

The lecture enriched attendees with a range of practical guidelines and applied practices that effectively contribute to improving the quality of research output among students and academic staff, thereby strengthening the university’s standing in international scientific forums.
