Awareness Seminar Entitled "The Phenomenon of Bullying in the Student Environment: Causes and Solutions"
Ibn Sina Hall Hosts the Second Seminar on Student Bullying as Part of Entrepreneurship Week Activities
As a continuation of the Global Entrepreneurship Week program, the College of Science, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Unit, organized the second scientific seminar entitled "The Phenomenon of Bullying in the Student Environment: Causes and Solutions," on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in Ibn Sina Hall.
The seminar, moderated by Assistant Lecturer Duha Sabbar Khalil, included extensive discussions on ways to protect students from the psychological pressures resulting from bullying, and how psychological stability contributes to enabling students to enter the world of entrepreneurship and develop their leadership skills, in addition to providing a safe and stable learning environment as an essential part of supporting innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
The seminar witnessed valuable participation from a select group of faculty members, including Dr. Dina Ahmed Mohamed, M.M. Doaa Ahmed Ibrahim presented detailed discussions that addressed the psychological and social aspects of the bullying phenomenon, how to identify its causes in the university environment, and how to develop practical and awareness-raising solutions to reduce this phenomenon and promote the values ??of mutual respect among students.
