In a step reflecting the distinguished academic presence of the University of Anbar in general and the College of Science in particular at international scientific forums, Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Jabbar Suleiman, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, has been selected to serve as a Guest Editor for the *Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE)*, which is indexed in the reputable Scopus database.

Dr. Ahmed Abdul Jabbar will oversee the editing of a specialized research collection entitled:
“Integration of Bioinformatics and Genetic Engineering: Visual Protocols for Functional Genomics and Precise Gene Editing.”

This collection aims to highlight visualized research protocols that integrate bioinformatics analysis with laboratory applications in genetic engineering, ensuring research quality, reproducibility, and strengthening the integration between theoretical and experimental studies in modern genomic sciences.
