As Part of International Scientific Collaboration: "Mathematics Faculty Member from the College of Science Publishes in a Prestigious Indexed Journal"
In line with the College of Science’s ongoing efforts to promote scientific research and elevate the academic profile of the University, and in collaboration with an international team of researchers, Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Jasim Mohammed from the Department of Mathematics has achieved a significant scientific milestone by publishing a high-quality research article entitled:
"On Multi-Valued Fuzzy Metric Space Iterative Contractions with Applications to Nonlinear Matrix Equations"
The paper appeared in the prestigious journal *AIMS Mathematics*, ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in Scopus and Clarivate databases, with an Impact Factor of 1.8 and a CiteScore of 3.1.
The study addresses multi-valued fuzzy iterative contractions, providing illustrative examples to clarify the definitions and results obtained. Furthermore, it presents an application related to solving nonlinear matrix equations based on the fixed points of these newly defined contractions.
