Awareness Workshop Entitled “Family Values as the Primary Foundation for Societal Advancement”
As part of its ongoing educational activities aimed at strengthening social and pedagogical awareness, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Science organized an awareness workshop on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, entitled: “Family Values as the Primary Foundation for Societal Advancement.”*The workshop was held at Ibn Sina Hall in the College.
The sessions were delivered by a distinguished group of faculty members: Dr. Zeina Akkab Sulaibi, Dr. Anhar Abdul Salam Ouda, and Dr. Abeer Mohammed Anad, with notable attendance and active engagement from faculty staff and students.
The workshop highlighted the crucial role of the family as the fundamental nucleus and primary institution in building a cohesive and prosperous society. It aimed to reinforce authentic moral and educational values among university students and to emphasize the importance of sound family upbringing in safeguarding future generations and guiding their behavior in addressing societal challenges and emerging negative phenomena.
The speakers emphasized that the role of academic institutions extends beyond scientific instruction to include moral and social development, thereby contributing directly to preparing a conscious and responsible generation capable of leading positive change and supporting social stability.
