As part of its series of scientific and educational activities aimed at refining students’ skills and developing their personal capacities, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a number of faculty members and students, the University Psychological Counseling Unit organized a developmental scientific seminar on Sunday, 1 March 2026, entitled: *“Leadership and Teamwork Skills.”* The event was held at Jabir ibn Hayyan Hall.

The seminar was moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Wijdan Ahmed Ali. The lectures were delivered by motivational speaker and certified trainer from the “Athar” Sustainable Development Team, Mr. Abdulrahman Sabri, along with Dr. Reem Mahdi Saleh.

The seminar aimed to highlight the fundamental pillars of effective leadership and the importance of teamwork in achieving shared goals. The speakers discussed mechanisms of effective communication, strategies for overcoming challenges within academic and professional environments, and methods of motivating students to harness their positive potential in alignment with sustainable development goals and future labor market requirements.
