Awareness Seminar Entitled “Positive Thinking and Building Motivation for Success”
As part of its ongoing efforts to build the character of university students and develop their life and psychological skills, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Science organized an awareness seminar on Thursday, March 5, 2026, entitled “Positive Thinking and Building Motivation for Success.” The seminar was held at Jabir ibn Hayyan Hall in the College.
The seminar hosted a distinguished group of experts and specialists. The lectures were delivered by: Dr. Omar Jassim Mohammed, Director General of the American–British Board and an international training expert and consultant

Assist. Lect. Hanan Khamis Khalaf and Assist. Lect. Fatima Khalil Ibrahim from the Department of Chemistry, College of Science
The seminar aimed to instill the principles of positive thinking among students and train them to transform academic and personal challenges into opportunities for success and creativity. It also highlighted mechanisms for building self-motivation and emphasized the importance of producing and following meaningful content that enhances the positive energy of youth and directs it toward innovation and service to society, away from frustration and negative influences.
