As part of the central activities celebrating **National Tree Planting Day**, and within the framework of ongoing efforts to achieve the goals of sustainable development, the College of Science hosted an expanded scientific and environmental seminar. The event was attended and actively supported by the president of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada, and supervised by the dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour.
The seminar lecture was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Ahmed from the College of Agriculture, Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering. The lecture addressed several important scientific themes, focusing on the vital role of tree planting in improving the university environment, reducing pollution levels, expanding green spaces, strengthening environmental balance, and providing a healthy and clean atmosphere for students and staff.
