Workshop at the College of Science on “Performance Evaluation Regulations and Guidelines”
Under the patronage and attendance of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafou, and in the presence of the Assist. Deans for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, as well as a distinguished group of faculty members and administrative staff, the "Quality Assurance and University Performance Division" at the College organized a specialized workshop entitled: “Mechanisms and Guidelines for Completing the University Performance Evaluation Form” The workshop was held in Ibn Sina Hall.
The workshop sessions were delivered by Assist. Prof. Osama Jassim Mohammed, Lect. Dr. Ahmed Mudhafar Ahmed, and Assist. Lect. Hanan Khamis Khalaf
The workshop provided a comprehensive explanation of the various sections and criteria included in the annual evaluation forms for both academic and administrative staff. Particular emphasis was placed on the proper documentation of scientific, research, and administrative activities in accordance with the applicable ministerial regulations and guidelines. The presenters also highlighted the importance of accuracy in data entry to ensure the protection of staff members’ rights and to accurately reflect their efforts and achievements throughout the academic year.
The workshop witnessed significant engagement and valuable contributions from attendees, with numerous questions and discussions regarding the evaluation process. The presenters addressed all inquiries related to the mechanisms and procedures of performance evaluation.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the College commended the efforts invested in organizing this important event, emphasizing the significance of annual performance evaluation as a fundamental tool for enhancing academic, administrative, and institutional quality and performance within the College.
