Today, Tuesday 29/10/2024, the Dean of the College of Science Chess Championship concluded with great success, which was held by the Student Activities Unit at the college in cooperation with the Student Activities Department at the Presidency of Anbar University, with wide participation from college students from various scientific departments. The championship witnessed strong and enthusiastic competitions between students, who demonstrated high athletic skills and honorable sportsmanship.

At the end of the championship, student Abdul Malik Hisham Hassan from the Chemistry Department won first place. Student Omar Ahmed Munir from the Biology Department came in second place, while student Alaa Hussein Ali came in third place.

For his part, the Dean of the College stressed the importance of sports activities in the student's life, noting that they contribute to developing their physical and mental abilities and enhancing their self-confidence. He also congratulated the winners on this achievement, wishing them more success in their academic and professional lives.
