In a step aimed at enhancing the scientific research skills of students in the Department of Mathematics, a group of fourth-year students made a scientific visit to the Central Library at the University of Anbar, accompanied by a number of lecturers. The visit included an exploratory tour inside the library halls, where students learned about its various sections and collections rich in diverse scientific sources. They were also introduced to the latest technologies used in electronic research and access to information. This visit coincided with a valuable lecture by the lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Muhammad Jassim Al-Fahdawi, on the art of writing scientific research and graduation research, which was presented specifically for fourth-year students. The workshop on writing scientific research was the focal point of the visit. The lecturers provided a comprehensive explanation of the steps necessary to write a comprehensive scientific research, starting from choosing the appropriate topic to formulating the conclusion. The importance of scientific references and reliability in writing the research was also emphasized.
