The Assistant Dean meets with representatives of the various academic departments
In a step towards enhancing communication between the college administration and students, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Salman Obaid, and the Head of the Registration and Student Affairs Division, Mustafa Saadoun Rashid, held a meeting with representatives of the various academic departments in the College of Science.
The meeting witnessed elections to choose the student representative in the college, where the student Ahmed Younis was elected with the highest percentage of votes. During the meeting, many issues of interest to students were discussed, such as: providing the necessary educational resources, organizing student activities and scientific events, and solving problems facing students.
For his part, the Assistant Dean stressed the importance of the role of students in developing the college, and urged them to participate effectively in student activities, and adhere to university regulations and laws. He also promised to provide all necessary support to students to achieve their goals, and stressed the importance of opening continuous channels of communication between the college administration and students, by holding periodic meetings, and allocating a box for complaints and suggestions.
